چکیده

Objectives: Mono or infectious mononucleosis (IM) is often referred to as the kissing illness. Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), which causes mono, spread by saliva. Kissing, sharing a drink, eating utensils with person who has can transmit disease healthy individuals. This study investigates several bioactive compounds derived from plants forecast how effective plant-based ligands will be at preventing IM. Methods: The purpose of current was use computational techniques assess effectiveness phytochemicals against EBV. virtual screening tool PyRx used systematically perform molecular docking. top 6 phytocompounds Argemone mexicana were chosen among them test their compatibility EBV nuclear antigen. Using ADMET filters, ligands’ pharmacological evaluation performed. Results: Coptisine, Sanguinarine, and Dihydrosanguinarine plant A. discovered most potent antagonistic for proteins Nuclear Antigen 1 antigen 2. Conclusion: All these chemicals could considered deserving candidates suppression IM due strong affinity protein. Among ligand, phytoconstituent Coptisine demonstrated better binding both targets.

Epstein-Barr virus infectious mononucleosis.

Infectious mononucleosis should be suspected in patients 10 to 30 years of age who present with sore throat and significant fatigue, palatal petechiae, posterior cervical or auricular adenopathy, marked adenopathy, or inguinal adenopathy. An atypical lymphocytosis of at least 20 percent or atypical lymphocytosis of at least 10 percent plus lymphocytosis of at least 50 percent strongly supports ...

Lymphoma infectious mononucleosis by Epstein-Barr virus: A case report

Background: Epstein-Bar virus (EBV) causes infectious mononucleosis in more than 90% of children. Rarely, mononucleosis may lead to malignancy. The aim the current study was to introduce a child with mononucleosis and persistent adenopathy. Case report: A 4-year-old male patient presented with complaints of fever, shortness of breath and sore throat. He was treated with antibiotics and prednis...

Epstein-Barr virus: beyond infectious mononucleosis

Received for publication: 8-12-10 Accepted for publication: 8-12-10 Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) is an ubiquitous human herpes virus that has been identified as the etiologic agent of infectious mononucleosis, a self-limited lymphoproliferative disease and, in general, is self-limiting in the immunocompetent host. The disease has a benign course. EBV has also been identified or associated with epit...

Autoantibodies in infectious mononucleosis have specificity for the glycine-alanine repeating region of the Epstein-Barr virus nuclear antigen

Viruses have been postulated to be involved in the induction of autoantibodies by: autoimmunization with tissue proteins released by virally induced tissue damage; immunization with virally encoded antigens bearing molecular similarities to normal tissue proteins; or nonspecific (polyclonal) B cell stimulation by the infection. Infectious mononucleosis (IM) is an experiment of nature that provi...
